OEM Modules

Santec provides a variety of supports and solutions for OCT applications and customers. This includes OEM light sources (swept source), interferometers, photo detectors, endoscopic fiber probe/catheters, optical delay lines, and even specially designed data acquisition board sand OCT software. Long experience for high quality/reliability practiced in telecom component manufacturing and our know-how ensures the base of OCT technologies even for different field of applications. Swept source engine supports medical grade standard such as IEC60601and CE mark. We also provide technical support/transfer for launching specific OCT project in many ways.



 

HSL-200 / 100

HSL-200/100 is an OEM swept source engine based on the same technology used for bench-top type units, HSL-2100/1100.

Maintaining the same high performance of bench-top, the size is miniaturized with external power supply and it supports RS-232C communication for external control and monitoring by the software in the system. Specifications (ex. Scan rate, scan range, coherence length, output power, etc) can be customized to fit to OEM solutions.

IFM-200 / 100

IFM-200/100 is OEM module of Mach-Zehnder type interferometer. It can integrate visible marker LD, optical delay line with external control port. Santec’s packaging technology for optical subsystems is applied to maintain high quality and high reliability as well as lower cost. Custom configuration including the other interferometer type (ex. Michelson, Fizeau type) can be designed for OEM solution.

BPD-200

BPD-200 is a balanced photo detector that outputs the difference of two detector signals. This can be used for reduction of common mode noise due to the laser power fluctuation. In heterodyne detection as in the most of OCT applications, it benefits 3dB sensitivity advantage when detecting the signal inverted in phase in between two input signals. Furthermore, special design significantly reduced the problem of the undesired image artifact which was a major problem in the other balanced detectors. BPD-200 is the best detector ever made specifically for SS-OCT applications.

OCT catheter/ endoscope

Santec established a optical component production technology in the past 15 years including optical micro assembly and state-of-the-art MEMS（Micro Electro Mechanical System） for telecom applications. Adapting these technologies, we develop unique OCT fiber catheter for endoscopic applications. Custom design can be proposed for OEM solution.
