 Santec Opens Office in China

Santec is pleased to announce the establishment of a subsidiary in China and the opening of a sales and technical support office based in Shanghai, China. The company, Santec (Shanghai) Optical Communication Limited, will be 100% owned by Santec Corporation, Japan.

Chinas fiber optics markets offers significant potential for growth. The office in China will enable Santec to provide direct customer support to its existing customers, and also enable it to expand its customer base for both its range of DWDM fiber optic components, and fiber optics test and measurement instruments. The office will complement Santec?s existing overseas subsidiaries in Europe and North America.

Paid in Capital: 200,000 U.S. dollars.
