High output power compatibles broad spectrum range
The UWS-1000H is a new type of light source that emits what is known as Supercontinuum Light. This has similar properties to laser light such as
high coherence but has the advantage of an ultra-wide optical spectrum.
The output from the UWS-1000H spans from 1100nm to 2000nm with greater than -17dBm/nm of optical power. The light source will directly replace conventional ASE sources and is particularly suitable for CWDM and PON filter characterization. It is also suitable for medical imaging applications such as Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).
