Santec offers advanced spatial light modulator SLM-100

Product Name: Spatial Light Modulator

Production code: SLM-100

Komaki, Aichi, Japan, – Santec, a leading design and manufacturer of tunable lasers, optical instruments, and fiber-optic components, introduces the advanced reflective spatial light modulator, SLM-100. Spatial light modulators have been deployed in various industrial applications, such as beam reshaping in laser processing, optical manipulation of cells in bio-optics, wave-front compensation in precision optics. The SLM-100 is based on latest LCOS (Liquid crystal on silicon) technology. The SLM-100 provides excellent features, such as high-definition 1.5Mega-pixels, 4 times superior 10-bit 1024 gray levels and 10 times excellent phase stability than conventional products. The advances SLM-100 can contribute to achieve many breakthroughs in these industrial applications. The general availability of the SLM-100 is on March 2nd, 2015. The SLM-100 will be showcased at the Photonics West 2015 in San Francisco, February 10-12, in SANTEC’s booth #933.
