HSL-40

High speed scanning laser at 1.7 μm can achiever deeper penetration into tissues such as the arterial wall due to low scatter.
Spectroscopic OCT may also be implemented such that it can further differentiate calcified and lipid rich plaques.

Non-destructive testing
HSL-40Non-destructive testing is one of the key functions in product quality control. In-line inspection to detect void, crack, delamination defects can be realized by using OCT. HSL-40 delivers fast and precise measurements with enhanced imaging depth thanks to low scatter operating wavelength, 1.7μm.


University of California, Irvine (UCI) has published their first paper using our 1.7 μm swept source OCT.
The following study shows promise for applications of OCT in cardiology: “significantly improved imaging depth and better identification sensitivity” when compared to 1.3 μm imaging.
