OTF-980は、C&L-bandの広帯域波長可変範囲を持ち、透過帯域幅はスロープ形状の異なる3つのタイプをラインアップに揃えています。その中でも、Ultrafine-Plusタイプは最も急峻なフィルタスロープ1000 dB/nmを備えています。また、内蔵するパワーモニタと優れたピークサーチアルゴリズムにより、フィルタ中心波長を入力信号波長へ自動的に設定が可能です。SCPI準拠の外部通信コマンドをGPIB、EthernetとUSBにてサポートしており、リモートコントロールやプログラミングによる自動計測が可能です。また、本製品はフロントパネルのタッチスクリーンにおいても制御可能となっております。
