Performs annual calibration once a year
In order to use the measuring instrument with confidence, we recommend periodic calibration of the measuring instrument once a year. Regular and reliable manufacturer calibrations ensure long-term instrument reliability and avoid the risk of erroneous measurements leading to defective products.
Our calibration not only inspects and grasps inside and outside the specifications, but also performs correction (adjustment) + calibration so as to achieve the optimal specifications. By performing correction (adjustment), the appropriate specifications of the product are maintained, the risk of failure is reduced, and the measuring instrument can be used in an optimal state.

Pay attention to where the product is used and where it is stored
Avoid using and storing in the following places.
- Place exposed to direct sunlight
- Hot and humid place
- Places with a lot of dust, dirt, salt and corrosive gas
- A place with large vibration
- Places susceptible to noise such as electric and magnetic fields
- A place with water
In addition, our products have an air inlet for cooling the device and a fan for exhaust on the bottom and side surfaces. Ensure that there is enough free space so that the air flow is not obstructed.
Use proper packaging when transporting products
When transporting, be sure to use the cardboard box and packing materials that were delivered at the time of delivery and pack them according to the following packing procedure. If the packing materials are damaged or discarded, please contact our sales representative. We will send you special packing materials.
If you do not have the packing material at the time of delivery and you are in a hurry, if the space between the equipment and the box is at least 10 cm filled with cushioning material without a gap, an alternative packing is acceptable.
As it is a precision instrument, please transport it in a state where vibrations can be avoided as much as possible.

Precautions for handling optical fibers and cleaning optical connectors
When connecting the optical fiber, always clean the end face of the optical fiber. Be careful not to scrape the end too much. Dirt or damage to the optical fiber to be connected may cause deterioration of measurement accuracy or damage to the fiber end face of the measuring instrument. In the worst case, the instrument may need to be repaired.
Be careful not to overtighten the connectors. Excessive tightening may apply force to the fiber end face, which may degrade measurement accuracy and damage the fiber end face.
When inserting an optical fiber into the connector, take care not to damage the end face of the fiber, and insert it as perpendicularly as possible
When not using the measuring instrument, attach the connector cover to prevent dust from adhering.
We recommend that you periodically clean the connectors to prevent damage to the fiber end faces and the accumulation of dust and other contaminants. Refer to the product manual for cleaning the optical connector.
Use the power cord that came with the product at delivery
The power cord provided with the product is a special product for use with our products. Please do not use for other electric and electronic devices. Also, do not use any power cords other than those supplied with our products.
