Santec AOC Introduces a New Phase Control Feature for Programmable LCOS-Based Optical Filter (WSS-2000)

This enhancement offers flexible and precise control of the filter passband, ideal for test and measurement in optical communication systems and other advanced optical applications.
The new phase control function enables advanced functions such as emulation and compensation of chromatic dispersion as well as signal buffering. In the field quantum optics, the WSS-2000 can be used to control group delay, thereby adjusting the timing and phase of entangled photon pairs.
