Product Name: High Performance Optical Power Meter

Product Name: High Performance Optical Power Meter
Model:OPM-200

SANTEC CORPORATION, a leading manufacturer of advanced optical components, tunable lasers, optical test equipment, and OCT systems, announces the product launch of the OPM-200 power meter. This high performance optical power meter is designed to provide accurate and precise measurements with a dynamic range of +8dBm to -80dBm.

The OPM-200 is equipped with a variety of features that make it suitable for lab environments, while also being simple and robust for seamless integration into a manufacturing production line. The system can be configured with up to four detectors, either panel mounted or remote-head. The remote-head cables can have up to 10m in length for maximum flexibility. An InGaAs detector enables measurements from 840nm to 1700nm, while the integrating sphere option is ideal for multifiber connectors or wide area beam applications. Each power meter uses the patented “easy on easy off” SD slide detector adapters available for a wide range of fiber optic connectors.

The OPM-200 boasts a range of features that include free space detectors, 1MHz sampling with a user selectable averaging time between 50us and 1s, a buffered output of up to 128,000 data points, external trigger for executing a data capture, and analog outputs. These features and the simple programming with SCPI calls via USB/Ethernet make the OPM-200 easy to integrate into an optical alignment or automated process on the assembly line.

Visit Santec at OFC 2023, booth #3139, to see the new OPM-200 power meter in action.
