Santec Holdings Corporation is pleased to announce that Santec Taiwan Co., Ltd., established on August 28, 2026, commenced operations in November 2026.

The establishment of Santec Taiwan reflects the growing importance of Taiwan within the global semiconductor, silicon photonics, optical communications, and AI infrastructure ecosystem.

Through a locally based sales and customer support organization, Santec aims to strengthen relationships with customers and partners in Taiwan and provide faster, more responsive, and more flexible support for the region’s rapidly growing photonics market.

Peter Chan, Vice President and Chief Product Officer of Santec Holdings Corporation, has been appointed CEO of Santec Taiwan Co., Ltd.

Brief Bio – Peter Chan

Peter Chan, Ph.D., serves as Vice President and Chief Product Officer of Santec Holdings Corporation and has extensive experience in the global photonics and optical test and measurement industry.

Since joining Santec, he has held a number of leadership positions across the Group, including management responsibilities in Canada, California and China, and has played a key role in global product strategy, business development, and market expansion.

In addition to his role as Chief Product Officer, he serves as CEO of Santec Taiwan Co., Ltd., leading the development of Santec’s business and customer support capabilities in Taiwan.
