Model: MPM-220
Product Name: 4ch Interchangeable Adapters Power Meter Module
Model: MPM-217
Santec LIS Corporation, a leading manufacturer of advanced optical components, tunable lasers, optical test equipment, and OCT systems, announces the product launch of the new Multi-Port Power Meter (MPM-220) and Power Meter Module (MPM-217). The MPM-220 improves the repeatability of insertion loss by providing an optical reference port. The MPM-217 is a new optical power meter module that uses an interchangeable adapter panel to support SC and LC connectors in addition to the conventional FC connector. This enhanced functionality allows the MPM-220 and the MPM-217 to be used in many applications, ranging from R&D to production environment.
The new MPM-220 multi-port optical power meter is also command compatible with the previous MPM-210 model, so switching to the new MPM-220 is as simple as swapping out your devices.
New Product Highlights
1. High Insertion Loss Repeatability
By providing a new optical reference port, it provides high Insertion Loss repeatability less than 0.005 dB option.
2. Optical Power Meter Module with an interchangeable adapter (MPM-217)
By adopting an adapter attachments, it is now possible to support SC and LC connectors in addition to the conventional FC connector. Also, by using a general fusion splicer adapter, it is possible to measure bare fiber.
