Spatial Light Modulator (SLM-310) won the Vico Cup OFweek 2025 Best Laser Industry Application Award
Santee AOC Corporation (Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture) received the Vico Cup at the Vico Web and GaoWei Exhibition, winning the OFweek 2025 Laser Industry Annual Award for'Best Laser Industry Application'.
The conference was held in Shenzhen, China, under the guidance of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Futian District People's Government. It was organized by Vico Web and GaoWei Exhibition.

The SLM-310 is a 1 kW-class LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon)-based spatial light modulator compatible with near-infrared laser sources around 1 µm.
It is designed for advanced industrial applications such as precision laser processing and metal 3D printing. The SLM-31 O combines LCOS technology with newly developed liquid crystal materials offering high light resistance.
It contributes to improved processing accuracy, enhanced efficiency through high-speed beam shaping, simultaneous irradiation of multiple spots and areas, and minimized thermal effects on materials. When integrated into laser processing machines--including welding, hole drilling, and cutting systems---or metal 3D printers, it enables more precise and reliable processing.
