santec Holdings Corporation is pleased to announce the establishment of a new European service centre.  The newly established subsidiary, Santec Europe Czech s.r.o. will strengthen Santec’s presence in Europe, expanding pre- and post-sales support as well as providing local calibration and repair services for European customers.

The new entity will serve as a strategic hub for the region; eliminating import and export procedures for customer’s within Europe and will reduce shipping times for calibration and service.  The centre will serve customers in telecom and datacom, as well as for quantum photonics and imaging application using Santec’s optical coherence tomography technology.

We are also pleased to announce that Tomas Pokluda has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the subsidiary.  Tomas brings over 10 years of hands-on experience in fibre optics, photonics and optical test & measurement, as well as a background in international sales and support throughout Europe and South Asia.
